Frequently Asked Questions
I want to bring my child to training, where do I start?
The best place to start is by coming down to one of our weekly training sessions, next to the cafe at Dulwich Park. Any of our managers would be happy to talk to you and your child about joining our club. The first session is free, so there's no pressure to sign up before you try!
I'm interested, but don't want to comit just yet, what should I do?
That's absolutely fine! Your child's first session is free, giving them a chance to see if the club is a good fit for them. After that you can always pay on a weekly basis before comitting to our year membership, although this will work out more expensive than an annual membership in the long run.
What do you do in your training sessions?
As a growing club, we are working to ensure that our training sessions and the lessons we're teaching our players are consistent across all age groups. As of the 19/20 season, the club is appionting a head coach to oversee training at all levels. If you want further details on what we do during our sessions, please speak to the relevant coach or manager for your child's age group.
My child would like to play in matches for Tulse Hill, how does that work?
In an ideal world, we'd be able to have as many players as were interested playing in our teams. Unfortunately, given that Tulse Hill relies entirely on volunteers, we're limited by the amount of coaches we have available to us. As such, a child's involvement in a team is decided by the manager and coaches of that team, often at the beginning of each season. This will vary from team to team, so if you want further detail, speak with the coach of your child's age group, who should be able to explain further.
